About Us

Our Mission

America has held out the promise that everyone has the opportunity for a piece of the American dream.

For more than 60 years wealthy investors have had the right to invest in startups and private businesses at their earliest stages. In bills in the JOBSAct of 2012, these new laws gave all U.S. citizens the same access. The process is called Equity Crowdfunding where anyone, anywhere can invest as little as $100 in startups and small businesses.

Unfortunately, the promise of that equality for all investors and access to capital for all businesses has been unfulfilled for far too long and for far too many. We intend on changing that, providing a solution that will reflect the diversity of the U.S. in everything we do, as we re-shape the funding process and make sure issuers have the knowledge and support to successfully run an equity crowdfunding campaign.

Diversity, equity, inclusion, and education are not just words but actionable steps that we will all live by as part of the Rise Up Crowdfunding equity crowdfunding portal to help all people realize their vision for the future.

Everything we value, from democracy to racial injustice, is endangered every day.

Because the top 1% of Americans have more wealth than the bottom 90%. It won’t get better without real change.

We have created a new impactful collaborative equity crowdfunding process to help more Women, Black, and Brown, LGBTQ, Veterans, and all underrepresented minority founders and small businesses gain access to capital from the millions of people who ( since the passing of the JOBS Act in 2012 ) can now invest a small amount of money in a private company online.

With the help of our strategic partners:

The Coca-Cola Company, the Women Presidents Organization, IWEC, and the National Veteran Business Development Council,  we can reach people all over America that are looking for the capital they need to bring their business to the next level or to be an investor.

Through these partnerships, and many more to come, thousands of businesses in those organizations will be encouraged to utilize Rise Up Crowdfunding for funding, and the offerings on the platform will be consistently marketed to the millions of members and employees of those organizations and corporations along with the general public so they can all become crowdfunding investors.

Rise Up Crowdfunding Is The Place For Everyone To Help Make Real Change Happen.

Meet Our Team

"Ruth E. Hedges, our CEO is one of the world’s foremost authorities on Equity Crowdfunding and is one of the original pioneers of the legislation that was ultimately signed into law as Title lll 4(a)(6) the crowdfunding bill in the  JOBS Act on April 5, 2012"

With the weight of history weighing heavily on our shoulders, she created Rise Up Crowdfunding so that we can all participate in a powerful way that will make a difference.

"We believe in a future where the next world-changing business does not go unrealized because of access to capital, and we are excited to be working with The Coca- Cola Company in this venture to make the change we all want to see in the world finally happen."
